Jennifer S. Anderson joined the law firm in 1985 after completing a two-year legal clerkship with U.S. District Court Chief Judge Miles W. Lord, and is currently the managing partner of Thiel, Anderson and Kukla, PLLP.
A graduate of Hamline University School of Law, Ms. Anderson practices in the areas of estate and tax planning, probate, elder law, disability planning and real property. She has been named a Super Lawyer for the last fourteen years and has also been named as one of the “Top 40 Estate Planning and Probate Super Lawyers” and “Top 100 Women Super Lawyers” in the State of Minnesota. She has participated in the Wills for Heroes program since its inception in 2007. She has served on the Governing Council and the Legislative Committee of the probate and trust law section. She has been a Minnesota Continuing Legal Education speaker and is a member of the Hennepin County Probate and Trust section and Real Property section, and the Probate and Trust, Elder Law and Real Property sections of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Ms. Anderson is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Academic Excellence Foundation (gubernatorial appointment), and is past Chair and current member of the Foundation Board and a member of the Residence Board of Jones-Harrison Residence. She also is a member and past President of the Minneapolis Women’s Rotary, and member and past President of the Minneapolis Business Forum.
She is married to a former federal criminal prosecutor and retired Hennepin County District Court Judge and has two adult children.
